Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Picks N Props, a free-to-play social game in which private leagues track picks against published sportsbook lines using virtual units.
1. Who may use the service
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. You confirm this when you sign in and we record the date of that confirmation. You may not use the service if you have previously been removed from it, or if doing so is prohibited where you live. We do not collect identity documents, government identifiers or precise location, and we do not ask you to.
2. Virtual units
Leagues are played with virtual units. Units are not money, are not a prize and have no value inside or outside the service. They cannot be purchased, sold, exchanged, transferred between members, gifted, redeemed or withdrawn. Commissioners and the platform may adjust, reset or void units to correct errors, enforce league rules or grade outcomes, and you have no claim arising from any such adjustment. Rebuys, where a league allows them, are always free.
3. No real-money play
You agree not to use the service to organize, promote or settle wagers for money or anything of value, including entry fees, buy-ins, prize pools, side pots or payment requests of any kind. Sharing payment links or payment-app handles (for example Venmo, Cash App, PayPal or Zelle) in league chat or elsewhere on the service is prohibited and may be filtered automatically. We may suspend or remove accounts and leagues that violate this section. See This is not gambling for how the product is designed.
4. Lines, scores and grading
Odds, lines and scores are third-party data displayed as provided, with attribution to the reference source. We do not create or adjust lines. Data may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and picks are graded from the data we receive. Within a league, the commissioner's decisions on grading disputes are final; across the service, the platform's decisions are final. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any sportsbook, sports league or team.
5. Leagues and commissioners
A commissioner creates a league, sets its rules and invites members. Commissioners are responsible for how their league is run and for the conduct they permit in it. We may provide paid administrative tooling to commissioners in the future. Paid features never change gameplay: bet types, sports, standings and units are identical for free and paid leagues.
6. Your conduct
Do not harass, threaten or impersonate others; post unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit content; attempt to access another member's account; probe, scrape or overload the service; or circumvent moderation. Members can report content, and we act on reports. We may warn, mute, suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these terms.
7. Your content
You own what you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it as needed to run the service. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you post.
8. Responsible play
You can pause your own account at any time from the Responsible play page. While paused you cannot place picks. If you believe your play has become a problem, that page lists free, confidential resources.
9. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change or discontinue features at any time. When these terms change materially we will update the version at the top of this page and ask you to accept them again before continuing. Continued use after acceptance means you agree to the updated terms.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, standing or units. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to one hundred US dollars.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these terms. Sections 2, 3, 7 and 10 survive termination.
12. Governing law and disputes
Placeholder for counsel: governing law, venue, arbitration and class-action terms, DMCA agent contact and notice procedures.
